La estación lluviosa ha llegado a Asia y viene para quedarse. Desde primeros de este mes y hasta Octubre la mayor parte del sudeste asiático se ve afectada por este fenómeno meteorológico, el Monzón, y digo la mayor parte porque aún hay zonas que se libran, por ejemplo la costa este de Malasia, las islas del golfo de Tailandia o Indonesia tienen el ciclo inverso y su estación lluviosa va desde Noviembre a Abril.
Mucha gente me pregunta si complica los viajes, mi respuesta es: NO del todo. Puedes seguir viajando pero tienes que tener claro que te vas a mojar. El monzón no significa 24 horas de lluvias al día, es algo más como lluvias dispersas (pero brutales) y cielos despejados por momentos que permiten la salida de un sol abrasador. Además de unos porcentajes de humedad excepcionalmente altos.
En estos países la vida sigue, tiene que hacerlo, y la gente se ha acostumbrado a trabajar bajo la lluvia, a desplazarse y a vivir con ello. Como en la foto que encabeza el post, ese día parecía que tiraban cubos de agua desde el cielo pero eso no impide que los barcos sigan llegando y las provisiones tengan que llevarse del puerto a las tiendas y hogares.
Yo miraba la escena escondido bajo el tejado de Scuba Addicts esperando a que escampase un poco y ver si así llegaban buceadores. Aunque los días grises no invitan demasiado a meterse al agua (para los clientes), a mi no me importa, si me voy a mojar de todas maneras prefiero que sea en las profundidades.
