Sabaai-dii Laos!!!!.

Las primeras fotos de Laos.

English version:

I've decided to post this in english cos there's not information whatsoever in internet about this crossing point:

About this frontier pass is very hard to find information, is the pass from Tay Trang(Vietnam) to Sop Hun, (Laos), for people willing to cross to Laos From Vietnam I can say this Cross point is Open to foreigners with no problems, Even you can make the Visa For Laos in the frontier For 10$ less than in other places.
Everybody tells you about this place that there are no transports that you have to do hitchhiking on trucks and things like that. I contacted with a tourist agency in Laos and a guy told me that this cross point was just opened months ago and even there were no roads it was possible to cross, so as I was eager to get out of Vietnam I decided to just go there..
I got to Dien Bien Phu from Sapa as i wrote in my last post, once there I got a place in one of the hostels near to the station for 6 $, almost all of them are the same prize, In Dien Bien Phu I wandered around asking for the best way to get to Laos and finally I meet some German guys who were traveling in the opposite way I wanted to go ant they explained to me how to do it, It was as easy as buying a bus ticket to in the bus station to Muang Khua, for 5.5 $ for a 8 hours trip, the bus doest travel every day, Monday Wednesday, Friday and Sundays, so I got it for next day at 5.30 am.
Ás we got to the crossing point, we waited for it to open (it was very early), we did the burocratic process, everybody asked me “taipania? That means Spain in Vietnamese, so I thought not many Spaniards have passed this place by and we continued the way.. it was a stone path, only one direction crowded of animals in which you have to cross tree small rivers with no bridges, but anyway, one of the most beautiful landscapes I've seen so far.

We got to Muang Khua at mid day and the bus left us in one of the sides of the river Mekong, the village was in the other side, by boat we cross to the other side and the boat guy ask us for 500 something?, of course now we were in Laos and any of us 4 foreigners had The local coin “Kips” of knew the exchange rate, we paid him in Vietnamese Dongs even he was not very happy..
Now the options were to go down by boat to Luang Prabang or getting a bus to Oudomxay, as we dint understand whe the boat were departing and we dint have the local coin we decided to Split up every one of us their own way, i went to the bus station to continue to Oudomxay, as it was Sunday no changing places were open and as I had some Tailandese Baths I was able to pay the bus and get something to eat… I just ate what I could pay.
