Son Fallas y uno de los actos más importantes de estas fiestas es la Ofrenda a la Virgen de los Desamparados. Cerca de 60.000 falleros vestidos con sus ropas tradicionales acuden con un ramo de flores para crear el tapiz que formará el manto.
Mientras tanto Valencia lo da todo en las calles, en los bares, en las plazas y en las verbenas. La virgen tendrá trabajo estos días si se tiene que encargar de los «desamparados«, vamos a ser muchos.
La ofrenda no creo que la vea, que es San Patrick y prefiero el trebol que las flores. Además, ya estoy mayor para creerme que, con los años que tiene, siga siendo virgen.
Me voy a tomar una Guinness por las Fallas.
