Desde Myanmar continuo la serie de fotos «Volando por el mundo» con esta idílica imagen que me capto Jordi Llorens mientras sobrevolaba Bagan poco después del amanecer. Digo «idílica» por lo idílico del lugar y del momento, un amanecer que ya os enseñé en un lugar que para mi es mágico.

Con la perspectiva de la altura que alcanzo en los vuelos me he encontrado con muchos cambios en este país, yo pensé que el país era lo que vi en 2008, pero hasta ahora no me había dado cuenta que lo que más influyó en mi percepción fue el momento en el que entré; pocos meses después de la Revolución Azafrán, unos meses complicados en un país bastante cerrado (por culpa de la férrea dictadura, por supuesto). Si a eso le sumamos el momento de «cambio» que esta sufriendo ahora se transforma en otro lugar en muchos aspectos, con más turismo e infraestructura, con luz eléctrica las 24 horas y bastante más posibilidad de conexión a internet (como podéis comprobar), con mucha más gente dispuesta a hablar sobre el país… pero ya contaré largo y tendido cuando salga de aquí, desde Tailandia y con una conexión decente.

También quiero explicar que esta vez no es tan «viaje» como la otra vez que vine, que no he venido a hacer fotos y son imágenes sueltas las que voy a poder mostrar, que en los días que me quedan enseñaré pinceladas del país enlazando a los textos que escribí en mi anterior visita… y que sigo sin poder contaros la razón hasta dentro de unos 10 días.

En un rato me esperan 16 horas de bus desde el Inle Lake hasta Bago, es una pena que no haya perfeccionado mis vuelos para viajes de largo recorrido y solo sea capaz de hacerlos en espacios limitados, agradecería ahorrarme un tramo de estas carreteras infernales y sus autobuses «frigoríficos» con el aire a todo trapo, pero… es lo que tiene viajar… seguro que no seria lo mismo sin esos ratitos de «sufrimiento«.

Por cierto, ¿como va el invierno por España?, es que aquí con las chanclas y pantalón corto cuesta hacerse a la idea de que se acerca la navidad :p .
